Earlier in the month, GSMArena announced that phone maker Infinix has a gaming phone known as the GT 10 Pro in the pipelines, with a debut in India next month. It looks like the phone will also be making an appearance on our shores soon, as the phone is already present in the SIRIM database. And it looks like it has been there fore quite awhile.
The approval date of the Infinix GT 10 Pro is noted as 26 June, with a model number of X6739. That being said, it still remains to be seen if the phone will be launching its first gaming phone locally at the same time as its India debut or if the company has different plans for the two markets.
Physically, the Infinix GT 10 Pro does sport the aggressive design language that you’d expect from a gaming phone. We know of at least two colour variants – one is blue with yellow highlights, and another comes in white looking reminiscent of a Nothing phone. The initial report noted that fthe company is “aiming to provide high gaming features at an affordable price”. Which sounds like two opposing ideas being forced into a single package.
For its specs, the only known thing about the Infinix GT 10 Pro is the fact that it will have a 3.5mm audio jack. It is supposed to come with a MediaTek Dimensity chipset, but which one exactly is not known as of yet. It will also come with a triple camera setup with the main unit being a 108MP shooter. And on the software side, it will be running XOS 13, based on Android 13.
With the phone seemingly being prepped for a local launch, it won’t be long before we find out what the Infinix GT 10 Pro is all about. It would be pretty impressive if the company can really make an affordable gaming phone, as much of an oxymoron as it is.
