As was announced earlier in the month, the realme 11 Pro devices have finally gotten their local launch. Also, as alluded to in the earlier report, it looks like the base model is not joining the two Pro models in making their local debut.
For the two devices that made their way here though, their configurations look to be mostly unchanged. Starting with the realme 11 Pro Plus, it retains the 6.7-inch curved Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The equipped chipset is still the Mediatek Dimensity 7050, and the battery is still rated at 5,000mAh, with support for 100W charging.
The cameras on the realme 11 Pro Plus are the highlight of the device, as youd expect. Or more specifically, the 200MP main shooter with its 4x SuperZoom feature. Accompanying it at the back are the 8MP wide-angle and 2MP macro shooters. In front, sitting in the punch-hole cutout in the screen is a 32MP camera.
Then there’s the realme 11 Pro. As reported before, this one is pretty similar to the Plus model. The similarities include the display, the chipset and the battery capacity. But the first notable difference is that charging on this model only goes up to 67W. The main camera at the back has also been bumped down to 100MP unit, alongside the familiar 2MP macro shooter. It doesn’t have a third camera, but it can be hard to tell them apart at just a glance. The front-facing camera is also now a 16MP camera.
Finally, there are the RAM and storage configurations for both the realme 11 Pro and the Plus model. These only go up to 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB, respectively, which is a notch down on the storage department compared to the version launched in the brand’s home market. As these are also the only configurations for both models, the realme 11 Pro has an asking price of RM1,499, while the Plus model has a price tag of RM1,999. Both will be available starting tomorrow, 21 July 2023, on the brands official stores on Shopee and Lazada.
Making surprise appearances during the tail end of the launch event were the realme Buds Air 5 Pro and the realme Watch 3 Pro. These will also be available starting tomorrow, with prices of RM399 and RM429, respectively.
