HONOR has officially launched its latest budget tablet, the Pad X9. Announced just earlier this month, the device was introduced to the Malaysian market alongside the brand’s new 90 series smartphones as well as a new variant of an existing tablet.
The Pad X9 sports an 11.5-inch LCD display with a 2000×1200 resolution a peak brightness of 400 nits, and a 120Hz refresh rate. It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 4G chipset with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It also ships with MagicOS 7.1 based on Android 13.
For taking pictures and conducting video calls, the tablet is equipped with a 5MP camera on both the back and the front, along with a total of six speakers. Powering it is a 7,250mAh battery with support for 22.5W charging. Other connectivity features include Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1, along with a 4G LTE cellular connection via SIM card.
The Pad X9 will retail at RM1,099, but unfortunately, you won’t be able to buy it just yet. This tablet will only be available starting on 23 August 2023, over a month away from its launch. It will come with a free Smart Bluetooth Keyboard worth RM299. Additionally, the brand is introducing a variant of the Pad 8 with a bigger 8GB+256GB configuration priced at RM1,499.
