HONOR has revealed that it will be bringing the HONOR Pad X9, its latest tablet that was unveiled earlier this month, to the local market. The budget tablet will be introduced alongside the upcoming 90 series made up of the HONOR 90 and 90 Lite.
The Pad X9 sports an 11.5-inch LCD display with a 2000×1200 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 4G chipset with only 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, although the Malaysian version could get a different configuration.
It has a 5MP camera on both the back and front as well as featuring a total of six speakers. Powering the HONOR Pad X9 is a 7,250mAh battery with an undisclosed charging speed. Additionally, it supports Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1, with no cellular variant.
As for the smartphones, the HONOR 90 runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition and features a 200MP camera. The Lite model has a camera with half that megapixel count and a downgraded display, as well as a MediaTek SoC instead of one from Qualcomm.
The HONOR Pad X9, 90, and 90 Lite will be launching in Malaysia on 20 July at 8 PM. This event will see the brand announcing the pricing and availability of each new product.
