HONOR has unveiled its latest foldable smartphone, the Magic V2. It is the brand’s third foldable which has claimed the title of the thinnest foldable phone ever, measuring at just 9.9mm when folded and 4.7mm when unfolded, as well as weighting only 231g.
The Magic V2 sports 7.92-inch LTPO OLED main display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,600 nits. On the other side, the outer display uses a 6.43-inch 120Hz OLED panel with a staggering peak brightness of 2,500 nits.
It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and comes standard with 16GB of RAM. For storage, the standard version can be configured with up to 512GB while the Ultimate variant is equipped with 1TB. Connectivity-wise, it supports 5G, NFC, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6, and even an IR blaster.
When it comes to photography, the back of the phone features a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 20MP telephoto lens with OIS and 2.5x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 66W wired charging.
The Magic V2 is offered with four colour options with a starting price of CNY8,999 (~RM5,773) for the base trim. As of writing, the brand has not announced the pricing and available for other markets.
