The OnePlus 11 was released earlier in the year, so naturally we’re expecting a sequel sometime down the line. And sure enough, we have one of the many serial leaksters showing off renders of what is claimed to be the OnePlus 12. This comes courtesy of @OnLeaks.
On the face of it, these renders of the supposed OnePlus 12 shows a triple camera setup that looks like an amalgamation of the preceding OnePlus 11 and the OPPO Find X6. The circular camera island is off-centre like the former, with a textured bit on the lower half reminiscent of the latter, even if it’s not the whole lower half. In the same vein, the camera on this lower half looks quite a bit like a periscope camera. The rest of the back looks to be textured, again conjuring images of the aforementioned OPPO model.
The renders also indicate that the OnePlus 12 will have its volume rocker on the left, and the power button on the right, which is accompanied by a switch. This will likely serve to switch between ring, vibrate and silent modes that appeared in its preceding model.
In front, the renders of the OnePlus 12 looks to have a substantial cutout for the earpiece, but it remains to be seen if this will mean that it will come with a pseudo-stereo speaker system. The speaker grille is at the bottom of the phone, as usual, as well as the USB-C port.
As with any device these days, the first leak is always the sign that more is to come. With the renders of the OnePlus 12 making their way out onto the internet, it likely won’t be long before we find out more about the upcoming phone.
