The HONOR 90 series will officially make its way to Malaysia in less than two weeks. Last week, the brand debuted the HONOR 90 and 90 Lite for the global market and it seems both phones will be arriving here on 20 July as the latter is also featured on the event page.
The standard model sports a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a peak brightness of 1,600 nits. It runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition chipset from Qualcomm with a 5,000mAh battery and 66W charging.
On the back, the HONOR 90 features a 200MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide that doubles as a macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. Up front, the device houses a 50MP selfie shooter. As for connectivity, it supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.2.
On the other hand, the 90 Lite has a 6.7-inch 1080p LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC. While it also supports 5G and NFC, it loses Wi-Fi 6 support but gains Bluetooth 5.3.
Its camera setup is more modest with a 100MP main sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide, a 2MP macro lens, and a 16MP selfie snapper. The Lite variant is equipped with a smaller 4,500mAh battery with support for 22.5W charging.
There is also the 90 Pro but given that it was excluded from the global launch, it is unlikely to be sold here. While waiting for the pricing and availability to be announced on 20 July at 8PM, you can check out our hands-on experience with the HONOR 90.
