The long-awaited OnePlus Nord 3 5G has officially been launched by the company, which is the successor to the Nord 2 from way back in 2021. It is an upper mid-range device that offers a bunch of respectable specs and receives significant improvements from its predecessor.
For one thing, the phone sports a much bigger 6.74-inch 2772×1240 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. For protection, it is equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the back, Dragontail glass on the front, and an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. Additionally, it has Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, an under-display fingerprint scanner, and the iconic Alert Slider.
Inside, the Nord device once again runs on a MediaTek chipset, this time opting for the Dimensity 9000 paired with a whopping 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of internal storage. For connectivity, it supports 5G, up to Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC.
When it comes to photography, it features a triple-camera setup on the back consisting of a 50MP main sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro lens. Up front, it has a 16MP selfie snapper. Powering the device is a 5,000mAh battery which supports 80W charging.
The Nord 3 is available in misty green and retails for RM2,199. Pre-orders are available now on its website, Shopee store, and Lazada store, where it will go on sale on 10 July. Those who pre-order the phone between 5 to 9 July will also receive a free pair of Nord Buds.
