ASUS has announced the new Vivobook Go 15 (E1504F), a compact productivity laptop with a large FHD display and powerful specs for a relatively affordable price. It comes in two variants that differ in RAM amount and display type.
The laptop sports a 15.6-inch 1080p display with a peak brightness of 250 nits, a 16:9 aspect ratio, and the standard 60Hz refresh rate. The panel used for the display depends on which variant you get, varying from either an IPS or TN panel. Moreover, the display hinge can open up to 180 degrees with a lay-flat design.
For the internals, it runs on an AMD Ryzen 5 7520U mobile processor with AMD Radeon 610M for graphics. These are paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of PCIe 3.0 SSD storage. For storage expansion, the laptop has two extra slots.
ASUS fitted the device with a 720p webcam that has a physical privacy shutter along with SonicMaster speakers with DTS Audio Processing. For ports, it offers two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, a single USB 2.0 Type-A, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C, an HDMI 1.4 port, a DC-in port for the charger, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It also comes with a built-in fingerprint sensor in the touchpad for one-touch login with Windows Hello.
As for typing, it comes with a full-size ErgoSense backlit keyboard with 1.4mm key travel. Connectivity-wise, it supports up to Wi-Fi 6E as well as Bluetooth 5.3. Powering it is a 42WHrs battery with a 45W charger that can juice it up to 60% in 49 minutes.
The ASUS Vivobook Go 15 starts from RM2,299 for 8GB of RAM and a TN panel for a display, while the variant with 16GB of RAM and an IPS panel goes for RM2,499. It’s available for purchase on the brand’s online store, Shopee store, Lazada store, and its physical stores.
