The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 lineup is still a week away from its availability, but some of you may be happy to know that the local pricing for the cards is already available. The recommended retail pricing for the cards will start from less than RM1600.
Specifically, the recommended pricing of non-Ti RTX 4060 is set to start at RM1,539, basically making it the most affordable GPU under NVIDIA’s RTX 40 Series. Moving up the ladder, the RTX 4060 Ti 8GB will retail at a starting SRP of RM2,050.
For the 16GB variant of the RTX 4060 Ti, that specific model will retail from RM2,570. Again, these prices are the recommended starting prices from NVIDIA, meaning that we are still at the mercy of the GPU brand’s AIB partners. This rings especially true for us because we do not receive Founders Edition cards in an official capacity.
To recap on the availability dates, the RTX 4060 Ti 8GB will be the first card to hit the shelves on 24 May. As for the 16GB RTX 4060 Ti and non-Ti cards, both SKUs will be made available in July, although no specific date has been provided for either card.
The RTX 4060 Series is the latest addition to NVIDIA’s graphics card portfolio and at current, serves as its entry-level option for gamers looking to hop on to the Ada Lovelace bandwagon, all without deepening the void in their wallets or breaking the bank. With a minimum of 8GB of GDDR6 graphics memory, they also provide gamers not just with greater performance over their direct predecessors, but also modern accoutrements warranted by the brand, including access to the DLSS 3 AI upscaling technology, 3rd generation RT cores, 4th generation Tensor Cores, and support for the AV1 codec.
On that note, reviews of the card should be going up within the next week, so check back with us for that.
