Time has officially announced its Pakej Perpaduan PPR / PA @MyKabel earlier today at PPR Kerinchi with Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil officiating the launch event. Though the official launch event is held today, the ISP hasn’t announced anything new that it didn’t already reveal during the initial announcement back in February.
But in case you missed it, Time now has special rebates for its internet plans as part of the Pakej MyKabel. This is meant for Malaysians belonging in the B40 income group, senior citizens, disabled persons and veterans. While the launch event was held in PPR Kerinchi, there are other areas within the ISP’s coverage areas with the Program Perumahan Rakyat (PPR) designation. These are:
- PPR Kampung Baru HICOM, Selangor
- PPR Kota Damansara, Selangor
- PPR Lembah Subang, Selangor
- PPR Taman Putra Damai, Selangor (Lembah Subang 1)
- PPR UDA Utama, Johor
- PPR Taman Perling, Johor (Jalan Rawa 1)
- PPR Taman Perling, Johor (Jalan Rawa 7)
As for the plans that are a part of the Pakej MyKabel initiative provided by Time are the Fibre Home 100Mbps, 500Mbps and 1Gbps plans. Normally priced at RM99, RM139 and RM199 a month respectively, those eligible can get these plans at a reduced monthly fee of RM69, RM119 and RM179.
For those eligible for these rebated prices who already have existing contracts with Time, you will still have to apply for the rebates before you can enjoy the lower monthly fees. On that note, the ISP says that being granted these rates will not affect the duration of the existing 24-month contract period. The contract will not be extended, and you’ll simply get to enjoy a lower monthly fee for the remainder of its duration. As we reported on before, eligible customers can apply for the Time Pakej MyKabel until the end of this year. And you can do so via the ISP’s official website, linked here.
