The realme 10 Pro came to our shores in December of last year. Then in February, we saw that the company is collaborating with Coca-Cola for a special edition of the phone, which first released in India. Reports at the time indicated that it would be coming to our shores, but no exact date as to when that would happen was provided. Now, the company has shared that it will be happening next week.
To quickly go over them once again, the Coca-Cola edition of the realme 10 Pro will not be seeing any major departure from the regular model besides its colour scheme. You get the drink’s signature red and black at the back, with its name printed in white. It also gets its own custom theme, with all the extra fizzy flavour that you’d expect, from special app icons to unique charging animations.
The phone itself should also be identical to the standard realme 10 Pro as well. This means having a 6.72-inch Full HD+ 120Hz display, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset, 5000mAh battery with 33W charging, and 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Its cameras should also be the familiar 108MP main + 2MP depth sensor combo at the back, with the 16MP secondary shooter in a punch-hole cutout.
While realme Malaysia has announced that the realme 10 Pro Coca-Cola edition will be launching locally on 12 April, there are still details missing, which the company is clearly keeping for the launch event itself. One is the price which, as we mentioned before, would be very optimistic to hope for an unchanged RM1299. Another is the number of these special edition phones that will be made available, as there were only 6000 of them when it launched in India.
For what it’s worth, the company says Malaysia is one of the five countries, including India, to be getting the special edition. The other three being fellow Southeast Asian countries, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines.
