Lenovo has its Legion line of gaming PCs, be they of the desktop or laptop variety. The sub-brand has also gone into the realm of gaming phones. But now, the company is introducing a new gaming line, named the Lenovo LOQ, with two laptops and a desktop PC being part of the introductory lineup.
The two laptops in question are the Lenovo 15 and Lenovo 16, indicating their screen sizes. Their resolutions though are pretty similar, with the former being rated at 2560 x 1440 with the 16:9 aspect ratio, while the latter comes in at 2560 x 1600 and 16:10. Both are IPS panels with 165Hz refresh rates. Both also can be equipped with up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 GPU and up to 16GB of RAM.
Both models come in Intel and AMD variants when it comes to their processors. For both the Lenovo LOQ 15 and 16, these come with the IRH8 and APH8 suffixes, respectively, with the processors themselves going up to an Intel Core i7-13700H and up to an AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS, respectively. As for batteries, the smaller LOQ 15 gets batteries that are rated up to 60Wh, while those for the LOQ 16 go up to 80Wh.
Moving on to the desktop, there’s the Lenovo LOQ Tower 17IRB8. This comes with up to an Intel Core i7-13700 processor, with an unspecified range of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 40 series graphics cards, and up to 32GB of RAM. For storage the company lists the options as up to 2TB of 3.5-inch SATA HDD or up to 1TB of M.2 PCIe 4 SSD. All these are packed in a 170 x 304 x 176mm 17l casing.
Despite listing all of these, Lenovo had not shared any pricing or availability details for the LOQ 15 and LOQ 16 laptops, as well as the LOQ Twoer 17IRB8. The company says that all these will be announced at a later date.
