vivo Malaysia teased last week that it will be launching the V27e today. And as promised, the phone has been officially launched, with more items on its spec sheet finally revealed as well.
To start, the vivo V27e comes equipped with a 6.62-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 360Hz. Maximum brightness of the screen is rated at 1300 nits, which means that it can comfortably be used even under harsh sunlight. Inside, it runs a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset with 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage space, 8GB of which can also be used as virtual RAM.
The battery is rated at 4600mAh that supports up to 66W charging. The company claims that this allows the phone to get 50% of its charge with after 19 minutes of being plugged in. For its software, it comes with Funtouch 13 that’s based on Android 13 out of the box.
Prior to the official announcement today, the 64MP main camera was about the only thing we knew about the vivo V27e, alongside the ring-shaped Aura Light Portrait LED. Now, we know that these are accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro shooter. Going back to the front, the 32MP selfie camera sits in a punch hole cutout.
Finally, we come to the price of the vivo V27e, which the company has revealed to be RM1299. It is already available now, but the company says that between 4 March and 3 April, purchases will also come with free gifts worth RM666. This includes a smart tag worth RM69, a Bluetooth speaker worth RM99, a one-year extended warranty and a one-year screen protection.
