In addition to the Stealth series and the Cyborg 15, MSI Malaysia has also announced that the company is bringing the Titan GT77 HX and Raider GE78 HX to the local market. As per the tradition of the two product lines, these are the most powerful gaming laptops under the brand’s umbrella. And naturally, they come with an appropriately large price tag.
Starting with the MSI Titan GT77 HX, this is something that we’ve seen back in CES 2023 earlier in the year. For the most part, the laptop is unchanged from when it debuted on the international stage. It is sporting the 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13980HX CPU, a 17.3-inch 4K Mini LED IPS 144Hz display, and can make use of up to 128GB of DDR5 RAM. Storage figures sit at 4TB, split between two M.2 PCIe 4 slots.
For the GPU of the MSI Titan GT77 HX , it looks like only the model that has the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 is making its way to the local market. Rounding up the spec sheet of the laptop is a battery that’s rated at 99.9Wh.
It’s almost the same story for the MSI Raider GE78 HX, as it also comes with the top-of-the-line Intel CPU and Nvidia GPU. The one key difference between the Titan and the Raider is that the latter comes with a QHD display instead of 4K. Making up for that somewhat is that the refresh rate has been bumped up to 240Hz. It also has half the RAM and PCIe 4 slots, which means a maximum 64GB for RAM, and presumably 2TB for storage.
For their prices locally, the MSI Titan GT77 HX has an asking price of RM26999, while the Raider GE78 HX comes in just a hair lower at RM24999. As per the company’s announcement, both are already available for purchase.
