Razer announced the DeathAdder V3 Pro in August of last year, and while it was among the best of the gaming mice that the company had to offer, it was also among the priciest. Perhaps the gaming peripheral maker has gotten feedback from fans who wanted it, but is willing to compromise on the wireless but for a lower price. Because that’s exactly what the company has announced now, with base model Razer DeathAdder V3.
One added bonus of this new mouse is that thanks to it lacking wireless tech, it has lost even more weight. Not counting the cable, the Razer DeathAdder V3 weighs in at only 59g, around 4g lighter than the Pro model. Beyond these two differences though, we’re looking at the exact same mouse, sporting the company’s third generation optical switches, the Focus Pro 30K optical sensor, and the 8K Hz HyperPolling tech. Bonus points here because you don’t need another dongle that’s sold separately to benefit from this.
In addition to a wired model, Razer has also announced a Faker Edition of the DeathAdder V3 Pro. As the name suggests, this special edition model was made in collaboration with South Korean League of Legends esports player, Lee Sang-Hyeok. Beyond the fancy red coat of paint, half a face where your palm rests, and a signature on the right mouse button, it’s the exact same as the regular version of the wireless mouse.
For their prices, the Razer DeathAdder V3 comes with a RM349 price tag, less than half of what the Pro model asks for. On the flip side, the Faker Edition of the same mouse comes priced at RM849, making red paint, signature and the fancy print worth RM100. Both have already been listed on the official Razer online store, if any of these two piqued your interest.
