It’s definitely been a while since we last heard of OnePlus’ rumoured first ever tablet device, which is believed to be known simply as the OnePlus Pad. Now, it appears that the brand is finally going to debut it soon as a vague teaser featuring the product has been used to promote its upcoming Cloud11 launch event next month.
However, we might not need to wait or resort to guesswork into figuring out what the so-called OnePlus Pad could look like. This is thanks yet again to serial leakster Steven Hemmerstoffer (aka OnLeaks), who’s shared an early but unofficial glimpse at the tablet’s design ahead of the launch through a recent collaboration.
I turn 46 today so as Bday gift, I bring you the very first look at the #OnePlusPad!🥳

While its front design is nothing spectacular or unique, what truly sets the OnePlus Pad apart from other devices of its kind is the placement of its rear camera setup. More specifically, it is shown to feature a huge circular island which sits in the centre-left of the rear panel. Though definitely odd, this design makes more sense once you tilt the device in the landscape orientation.
In terms of size, OnLeaks claims that the tablet’s display measures at 11.6-inches. Besides that, situated on top of its frame is a lock/power button combo, while its volume rockers are located on the upper right side. A tiny camera cutout for the front-facing camera is also visible on the right side of the bezel surrounding the screen. Unfortunately, the leakster did not provide any information regarding the device’s internal hardware.
On that note, a separate rumour by Shadow Leak is suggesting that the tablet may feature a Snapdragon 865 chipset, 6GB of RAM, 128 GB of internal storage, a 10,090 mAh battery with 45 W fast charging, Android 12 via Oxygen OS 12, as well as 13 MP and 5 MP sensors for its front and rear cameras respectively. However, unlike Hemmerstoffer’s leak, the tipster claims that the OnePlus Pad would feature a larger 12.4-inch panel instead.
As usual, we highly recommend taking information from rumours with a grain of salt, and just wait for official details from OnePlus themselves. That being said, the Cloud11 event is scheduled to take place on 7 February 2023, where the brand is expected to debut several new products for the global market. Apart from the OnePlus Pad, other devices include the OnePlus 11 and 11R, OnePlus Buds Pro 2, as well as many others.
