Rumour has it that OPPO is preparing to launch yet another entry to its Reno8 mid-range smartphone series soon with an all-new Reno 8T model. Thanks to a recently shared leak by tech insider Evan Blass (aka EvLeaks), we may have a good look at what the allegedly upcoming device could look like.
Based on the renders from the leakster, the OPPO Reno 8T model is shown to sport a flat display with considerably slim bezels and a tiny camera cutout on the upper left corner. Interestingly, its rear panel closely resembles the design featured on another smartphone from the brand, namely the recently launched OPPO A78 5G. Though difficult to differentiate at first glance, what really sets the two apart from one another is the curved surrounding frame and rear camera arrangement on the Reno 8T.

Additionally, the leak reveals the newer phone will be offered in orange and black colourways. However, it is worth noting that the former comes with leather-like texture, while the latter has a metallic finish.
In a separate post on Twitter, even more images of the OPPO Reno 8T has been shared by fellow leakster SnoopyTech, giving us additional glimpses of details not visible from Blass’ leak. From the newer renders, the phone is shown to also feature a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a speaker grille and a USB-C port at the bottom.
As for hardware, unofficial sources claim the Reno 8T is expected to be offered in 4G and 5G variants. The former is said to feature a Helio G99 chipset, while the latter comes with a Snapdragon 696 5G SoC instead. Unfortunately, other specifications such as battery capacity or camera setups for either variant are still unknown at this time.
