Nothing Malaysia has announced that it will be launching a Combo Box deal for Singles Day. Included in the package is the brand’s inaugural smartphone, the Phone (1), as well as its latest audio device, the Ear (stick). The latter is slated to be widely released locally on 4 November 2022, which also happens to be the same day that this particular deal will be made available exclusively via the brand’s official stores on Lazada and Shoppee.
What’s special about the Singles Day Combo Box is that you’ll be netting both devices at a discounted price. More specifically, selecting the package containing the 8 GB + 256 GB memory configuration on the Phone (1) will cost you RM 2,399, while picking the 12 GB + 256 GB option will set you back only RM 2,699. In short, you’re basically saving RM 200 when compared to actually purchasing them together ala carte.
Needless to say, this Singles Day promotion is worth considering especially if you are planning to get both the Phone (1) and the Ear (stick). And for some reason, Nothing is also throwing in two scented candles as part of the entire package. However, do take note that the Combo Box is only offered for a limited time, starting from this Friday on 4 November until 13 November 2022.
As a refresher, Nothing launched the Phone (1) in Malaysia in August this year. It features a flat 6.55-inch AMOLED display with 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, while under its hood is a Snapdragon 778G+ chipset that is paired together with the memory configurations that we’ve mentioned earlier. Additionally, powering the phone is a 4,500 mAh battery which comes with 33 W wired and 15 W wireless fast charging, as well as 5 W reverse charging capability.
Situated on the back of the phone is a dual camera setup and its unique Glyph lighting system for notifications and such, which can be customised to your liking via the Settings page. The dual cameras consist of a 50 MP wide and a 50 MP ultra-wide, whereas found within the camera cutout on its display is a 16 MP front-facing shooter.
Meanwhile, the Ear (stick) is Nothing’s second TWS earbuds which was launched just last month. It packs new 12.6 dynamic drivers, touch-based controls, a new cylindrical charging case, a combined battery life of 29 hours, and an IP54 rating in terms of water and dust resistance. Even though it does feature the ability to cancel out external noise for clear calls, the device lacks any active noise cancelling (ANC) capabilities.
For your reference, the Nothing Phone (1) on its own currently retails for RM 2,399 for the 8 GB + 256 GB trim, and RM 2,699 for the 12 GB + 256 GB configuration. The Ear (stick), on the other hand, is priced at RM 469.
