Realme, via its official Indonesian website, has announced that its next generation Realme 10 mid-range smartphone will be debuting soon in the country soon. Along with the reveal, the site has also listed out all of the upcoming device’s specifications, corroborating rumours shared by leaksters prior to this.
Based on the images provided by Realme Indonesia, the new smartphone will sport a familiar design for its display and surrounding frame. Its back, on the other hand, is shown to feature a dual camera setup and a frosted metallic rear plate.
Also revealed is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and lock button combo, a USB-C port, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a downwards-firing loudspeaker. Though the size is unspecified, the Realme 10 is confirmed to feature a Super AMOLED display with 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution, 90 Hz refresh rate, and 360 Hz touch sampling rate.
Under the phone’s hood is a MediaTek Helio G99 that only supports up to 4G LTE in terms of cellular connectivity. For the Indonesian market, it is offered together with memory configurations of up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. As with most handsets by the company, it also comes with the Dynamic RAM feature which allows you to convert up to 8GB of storage capacity into virtual memory.
Meanwhile, powering the Realme 10 is a 5,000 mAh battery, which comes with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging support. According to the brand, the latter is capable of recharging 50% of the phone’s battery in just 28 minutes.
As for its imaging capabilities, situated on the back of the device is a dual camera setup which consists of a 50 MP primary shooter, and a 2 MP macro. Situated in front, housed within a punch-hole cutout on the upper left corner of its display, is a 16 MP selfie camera.
For the Indonesian market, the new Realme 10 is slated to launch next week on 9 November 2022. The company has yet to announce its pricing or confirm whether a Malaysian release is to be expected. In terms of colour options, the phone is available in either Clash Black or Rush White.
