Google has revealed that 6 October will be when the internet search giant is having its next announcement event. The company says that “It’s all coming together” with its teaser tweet, showing that more than one item will be unveiled.
The headliner for this event is more than likely the Google Pixel 7 family of devices, which includes the base model and a Pro version. It was teased during the I/O 2022 event earlier in May, with a prototype even showing up as part of an eBay listing a couple of weeks later. Expected specs are not known at the moment, beyond the fact that they will sport the next generation Tensor G2 chipset.
Next in line of items waiting to be showcased during the 6 October Google event is probably the Pixel Watch. This wearable had quite the spectacular leak, with a test unit being left behind at a restaurant, basically revealing its design in its entirety. The internet search giant would officially announce it during the I/O 2022 event a month later, but kept specification details very light beyond what was already leaked. Chances are the company will be taking this opportunity to reveal more.
Surprisingly, the Google Pixel Buds Pro will also make an appearance in the 6 October event teaser. Though since these were revealed in its entirety during the I/O event, chances are these are only here to doll up the teaser video. But who knows. maybe the company has some surprise updates in store.
It's all coming together.
