Grab has officially announced that it has kicked off the #Grab10versary Sale, offering its users greater savings on purchases made via its super-app platform. The promotion is launched as part of the company’s 10-year anniversary of being in service, as well as celebrating its 10 billion milestone of both rides and deliveries made since its inception.
“Grab has strived for positive social impact within our communities; from our beloved users to our dedicated partners,” said the company’s country marketing head Hassan Alsagoff in a press release. “#Grab10versary is no different, and it is our way of saying thank you for journeying with us these past 10 years.”
The #Grab10versary Sale is a month-long promotion that is currently running throughout the entirety of August, which is also leading up to another upcoming major celebration: Malaysia’s national day. Throughout this period, Grab is offering up to 50% off on purchases of daily necessities such as meals, shopping and deliveries that are made via its super-app. However, these discounts are only available for GrabFood, GrabMart and GrabPay services, but not the widely used GrabCar e-hailing feature.
Do take note that certain discounts are only applicable to those subscribed to the GrabUnlimited plan. More specifically, subscribers are offered with up to 50% off when ordering meals on GrabFood, as well as discounts up to 30% with free delivery for purchases through GrabMart.
All users are also entitled up to 20% off via the GrabPay and PayLater services by entering special promo codes provided by the company. Additionally, Grab is holding a #Grab10versary milestone challenge where you can earn attractive rewards by making two or more orders via its GrabGift service. Participating in the challenge will garner users with up to RM 60 GrabFood vouchers.
Last but not least, the company has also recently added the #Grab10versary Throwback Collection to its merchandise store to celebrate its decade-long milestone. This set consists of various clothing such as t-shirts, hoodies, and tote bags that feature designs inspired by Grab’s journey from tech startup to a multinational super-app company.
