The Samsung Care+ service is meant to serve as an additional warranty layer in case your device gets into an unfortunate situation. But it could also be a source of information on the company’s upcoming devices as it turns out. An eagle-eyed Reddit user has discovered that the service in the UK is listing devices that are only scheduled to be officially unveiled during the Unpacked event next week.
The Reddit post in question shows the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 coming in Beige, Grey / Green and Phantom Black colour options, with a choice of 256GB or 512GB storage space. GSMArena took it a step further, and found listings for the Galaxy Z Flip4, Galaxy Watch5 and Watch5 Pro as well.
For the smaller foldable phone, we’re looking at 128GB and 256GB storage options, as well as the Blue, Bora Purple, Graphite and Pink Gold colour options. There’s also a list of additional colour combinations under what the report notes as Bespoke customiser options. As for the smartwatches, the Galaxy Watch5 will come in 40mm and 44mm sizes, as well as Graphite, Silver, Gold and Blue colours, with the first colour also coming in a Golf edition. As for the Galaxy Watch5 Pro, we’re looking at a single 45mm size, with colour options being Titanium and Black.
These listings are almost definitely an accidental inclusion to the Samsung Care+ UK website. We tried replicating the process to see the list for ourselves, but they have since been removed, which is understandable. That being said, the cat is now out of the bag, as it were, leaving even less information that’s still kept under wraps. For what it’s worth, the most important bits, like local pricing and availability, are still not known, and will likely remain so until slightly after the Unpacked event next week concludes.
