Amazfit Band 7 Officially Launches With Up To 28 Days Of Battery Life

The brand skipped Band 6.

Amazfit has officially unveiled its latest wearable, the Amazfit Band 7, a successor to the Band 5. Yes, this means that the brand has somehow decided to skip Band 6.

Visually, the device closely resembles last year’s Redmi Smart Band Pro, but it comes with better specs such as improved battery life and even more workout features. The smart band sports a rectangular 1.47-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 198×368 and no physical buttons to speak of.

According to Amazfit, the screen is 112% bigger than the previous generation Band 5. The wearable has over 50 watch faces and users can even upload their own photos. When it comes to workouts, the Band 7 is capable of tracking 120 sports, going so far as to include chess and card games.

It can also automatically detect and track walking, running, elliptical, and rowing exercises. While it lacks a built-in GPS and requires you to connect to your phone to record your routes, it is still water resistant up to 50 meters, allowing you to keep it on while swimming and track your progress.

As per the standard, it also has a bunch of health monitoring features such as blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) tracking, heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, menstrual cycle tracking, and stress levels. It also allows you to get your current SpO2, heart rate, and stress level reading with just one tap.

Running on Zepp OS, the band is capable of showing notifications from your phone, tracking your phone, and can also be used as a Bluetooth camera shutter. With its 232mAh battery, Amazfit claims that the Band 7 can last 18 days with normal usage and up to 28 days with battery saver mode while it takes about two hours to fully charge the device with the magnetic charger.

The Amazfit Band 7 is being sold for US$49.99 (~RM222) in select markets and is available in beige and black variants alongside optional pink, blue, green, and orange straps. The company has not yet announced the pricing and availability for Malaysia though but we will keep you posted once we hear more from Amazfit.
