Reports on the release date of Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro 2, the successor to the original Buds Pro, recently began making its round online. Specifically, they’re saying that the earbuds have entered mass production.
The rumour about the earbuds was first posted by Twitter user Max Jambor (@MaxJmb), but fell short of providing any further details in his tweet. Jambor wasn’t the only source to tweet about this, though; SamMobile, as well as Twitter user SnoopyTech (@_snoopytech_), claimed that they too, had found online listings for the upcoming accessory. And that the listing was the window the wireless earbuds are expected to go on sale, plus the colours in which they will be available in.
Galaxy Buds Pro 2 / Galaxy Buds 2 Pro (whatever they are called) entered production today!

Not only that, it was also reported that the Buds Pro 2 may launch earlier than what was initially forecasted. If the rumours are accurate, the earbuds could potentially be released in early July 2022, which is much earlier compared to the Galaxy Z Flip 4, Z Fold4, Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro, all of which are expected to launch in August.
Again, despite its supposedly near launch date, not much is known about the Buds Pro 2. However, many users expect the next generation TWS earbuds to have improved audio quality, improved Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) performance, longer battery life, as well as newer designs.

As for the earlier mentioned colour options, SnoopyTech says that the Buds Pro 2 should ship out in three colour variants: Zenith White, Zenith Bora Purple, and Zenith Graphite. Again, no further information about the Buds Pro 2 could be found, not even how much they will cost at retail.
At the time of writing, Samsung itself has yet to make any official announcement about the Galaxy Buds Pro 2, and it’s likely that will be the case until the Korean electronics giant holds its second annual Unpacked event this August. In any case, this is still just a rumour, so as usual, season it with the recommended amount of salt.
