In addition to a pretty long list of games you can get via the Extra tier, Sony Interactive Entertainment also highlighted a shorter list of benefits from the highest Deluxe tier of its new PS Plus subscription. These are primarily the games that are part of the Classic Games catalogue, with games from the original PlayStation console as well as the PSP. There are also a few remastered ones, but these are accessible via the PS4 instead.
It’s probably worth noting that the number of remastered games is just shy of twice the length as the classic games list. At any rate, first comes the classic list:
PlayStation first-party games
- Ape Escape (Japan Studio, PS1)
- Hot Shots Golf (Japan Studio, PS1)
- I.Q. Intelligent Qube (Japan Studio, PS1)
- Jumping Flash! (Japan Studio, PS1)
- Syphon Filter (Bend Studio, PS1)
- Super Stardust Portable (Housemarque, PSP)
Third party games
- Mr. Driller (Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc., PS1)
- Tekken 2 (Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc., PS1)
- Worms World Party (Team 17, PS1)
- Worms Armageddon (Team17, PS1)
And here’s the slightly longer list of remastered games:
PlayStation first-party games
- Ape Escape 2 (Japan Studio, PS4)
- Arc The Lad: Twilight of the Spirits (Japan Studio, PS4)
- Dark Cloud (Japan Studio, PS4)
- Dark Cloud 2 (Japan Studio, PS4)
- FantaVision (SIE, PS4)
- Hot Shots Tennis (Japan Studio, PS4)
- Jak II (Naughty Dog, PS4)
- Jak 3 (Naughty Dog, PS4)
- Jak X: Combat Racing (Naughty Dog, PS4)
- Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy (Naughty Dog, PS4 )
- Rogue Galaxy (Japan Studio, PS4)
- Siren (Japan Studio, PS4)
- Wild Arms 3 (SIE, PS4)
Third party games
- Bioshock Remastered (2K Games, PS4)
- Borderlands The Handsome Collection (2K Games, PS4)
- Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning (THQ Nordic, PS4)
- Lego Harry Potter Collection (WB Games, PS4)
As noted before, SIE says that there will be a monthly refresh in the middle of the month for these lists of classic and remastered games. This implies that some games will be made inaccessible as new ones become available.
In markets where the PS Now streaming service was a thing, those who subscribe to the PS Plus Premium tier would also get access to PS3 games. But since streaming games is not part of the Deluxe tier, we will unfortunately not be getting access to them.
In addition to the classic games, subscribers to the Deluxe tier PS Plus will also be getting time-limited game trials for a select number of titles. For now, these are very limited in number, consisting of only Horizon Forbidden West, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, Cyberpunk 2077, Farming Simulator 22, Tiny Tina’s Wonderland and WWE 2K22.
Alongside the benefits from the Extra tier, these lists of classic and remastered games, as well as the limited trials, will be available to subscribers of the PS Plus Deluxe tier come 24 May of this month. There’s no word on if we will ever get access to the Premium tier, but it does seem unlikely at this point.
