Razer officially announced its refreshed Blade 14 Ryzen for the Malaysian market. As its official name suggest, the laptop houses an AMD Ryzen instead of one from Intel, but more to the point, the new laptop now features AMD’s top-of-the-line Ryzen 6000 series mobile CPUs, the Ryzen 9 6900HX with an integrated Radeon 680M mobile graphics.
Moving down the specs list, the new Razer Blade 14 Ryzen comes with 16GB DDR5 RAM running at 4800MHz; an upgrade from the original DDR4 RAM used with the 2021 version of the laptop. Additionally, the laptop comes in three GPU configurations, starting from the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060, and RTX 3070 Ti, and the RTX 3080 Ti serving as the highest tier configuration.
Having said that, do note that which GPU configuration you choose also determines the display panel that comes with it: For the model with the RTX 3060, the display’s native resolution is set at Full HD, with a 144Hz refresh rate. For those getting the RTX 3070 Ti or RTX 3080 Ti SKUs, those two share the same QHD (2560 x 1440) resolution panel, which also has a higher refresh rate of 165Hz. Other specifications include 1TB of NVMe Gen4 storage, up from the NVMe Gen3 used in the previous model.
Price-wise, the new Razer Blade 14 Ryzen starts at RM12599, but as of this publication, we’re still having difficulty finding the official pricing for the other two SKUs. For that matter, the laptops are already being listed on the brand’s US site, but not our local store page, let alone its online stores at Lazada and Shopee.
