Less than a month after the trial took place in our market, Microsoft announced that the Xbox PC Game Pass is now officially available in Malaysia. Through the announcement, the company has also confirmed the service’s monthly fee for our market which has now been set to RM15 per month.
The RM15 monthly fee was something that we already noticed during the trial period last month. It is good to see that Microsoft decided to retain the pricing which is quite low for what is being offered by the service.
Meanwhile, new gamers will only have to pay RM5 to enjoy the service for three months. Unfortunately, this offer is not available to those who joined the Malaysian trial (like us) as it was noted in our Microsoft account statement that we will have to start paying the RM15 monthly fee from May onwards.
Made its first debut in 2019, the Xbox PC Game Pass provides gamers with more than 100 PC games to play via a single monthly fee. As it is also crosslinked to the EA Play service, gamers also have access to additional titles from EA.
