AirAsia X, the long haul arm of Capital A’s budget airline brand, has announced that it will be expanding its flight network later this month, adding two new destinations in South Korea and India. Starting 20 April onwards, the airline will allow passengers to travel fro Kuala Lumpur to Incheon (Seoul) and also New Delhi.
According to AirAsia, sales for both destinations are available now for travel between 20 April and 30 June 2022, with additional services to be added in the near future. It added that flights to Incheon will be operated weekly on Wednesdays and returning on Thursdays, whereas to and fro flights to New Delhi will operate twice weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays.
As for the fares, the airline says that flights to Incheon start from RM659 for economy class, while flights to New Delhi are set to start from RM484. Passengers are urged to first refer to the full entry requirements into both South Korea and India before booking their tickets.
In addition, AirAsia X CEO Benyamin Ismail says that customers with outstanding bookings or credit accounts are allowed to use these to book the new flights. “We are also preparing travel vouchers for our guests who have unutilised credit, to use for future bookings, which will be announced in the near future,” he said.
