It appears that we might see a third iteration of the DJI Mini drone soon. This is suggested by a recent leak, which also provided alleged live photos featuring the device as well as some details of its key features.
Based on the pictures provided, the DJI Mini 3 is shown to feature an all-new design, featuring a forked front profile which gives more vertical leeway to its side-mounted 3-axis gimballed camera. Most interestingly, the leak claims that the company will offer the drone in standard and Pro variants – each featuring different cameras, with the latter is said to be equipped with a sensor with f/1.7 aperture.

Besides that, the Mini 3 also comes with obstacle avoidance sensors which are situated on the drone’s lower body and within its two front “prongs.” Battery-wise, it is said to feature a capacity of 2,453mAh, which is significantly more when compared to its predecessor – therefore allowing for longer flight times. Lastly, a label visible from one of leaked photos reveals that the supposedly upcoming drone weighs just under 250 grams.
