Blizzard has announced its plans for the upcoming few months involving reveals for the Warcraft series. Or rather, plans of revealing its plans. First in line is the Hearthstone card game, followed by a new World of Warcraft expansion, and the official announcement of the Warcraft mobile game.
The announcement is set to come in May, which could mean that the actual playable game will be coming later. No other details were included this time around, so more information will only be available in two months’ time. With the nature of mobile games, some elements like aggressive monetisation are probably to be expected. Though Blizzard can always provide a pleasant surprise to its fans.
Moving back a little, Blizzard has plans to announce the next World of Warcraft expansion on 19 April. No details on this either, as the post goes on to talk about the Eternity’s End update for the current Shadowlands expansion.
Coming the soonest is new information on the Hearthstone card game, which is coming on 15 March. Blizzard says that it will be announcing the first of three expansions this year on the provided date. The publisher also teased core set changes for the year, but no details on that yet.
