Now that Samsung has launched its Galaxy S22 flagships for the year, the company is likely preparing for the launch of a midrange Galaxy A series device. Leaks from late last year has indicated that this will be the Samsung Galaxy A53, and now its spec sheet has reportedly made its way onto the internet.
Twitter user @Sudhanshu1414 has shared the apparent spec sheet of the Samsung Galaxy A53, which features a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED Full HD+ display. It’s chipset is noted to be an Exynos 1280, which is new. Other items on the list include 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage space, a 5000mAh battery and, unfortunately, no charger in the box.

Cameras on the Samsung Galaxy A53 are reportedly a triple camera setup at the back, consisting of a 64MP main shooter, a 12MP wide angle shooter, and a pair of 5MP units, one for macro shots and the other a depth sensor. In front, it has a 32MP camera.

On a related note, the Samsung Galaxy A53 has found its way into the SIRIM database. This observation comes courtesy of the database’s observer @KevinNgTK. That being the case, it looks like a launch is imminent. If it happens within the month, then the previous prediction of a launch within the first three months of 2022 would have been accurate.
