Last month, a document meant for publishers and developers on Steam revealed the dates of the Autumn sale. And sure enough the sale has started, in conjunction with the Black Friday promos going on elsewhere.
Unlike the last Halloween sale, which focused solely on horror titles, the Steam Autumn Sale sees games across the gamut getting significant price cuts. Some go all the way up to 90%, while a fair number of series feature sales going up to 80%.
A few highlights here include Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, with the deluxe edition being priced at RM53.80. All of the older Far Cry games prior to 6 are also heavily discounted, all priced below RM50. Heavy hitters like Read Dead Redemption 2, and not-so-old titles like Cyberpunk 2077 are still priced at over RM100 despite their 50% discounts though.
While you’re shopping for games, you can also nominate your favourite games of 2021 for the Steam Awards. Voting is open for all games released in 2021, and for the duration of the Steam Autumn Sale. Winners will be announced on 3 January of next year.
You can find out more about what’s on sale, as well as the Steam Awards nominations, on the platform’s main site. No pressure on getting anything now, since the Winter sale is coming in next month.
