Amazfit has recently launched three smartwatches under its new GT 3 series in Malaysia. These consist of the standard and Pro variants of the GTR 3, and also the GTS 3 – all of which are powered by the company‘s Zepp OS platform.
The standard Amazfit GTR 3 comes with a circular 1.39-inch AMOLED display and is waterproof with a rating of 5 ATMs. Health and fitness tracking on this smartwatch includes the BioTracker PPG biometric sensor that can detect heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, stress levels, and respiratory rate. Complementing the sensor are various modes that include sleep monitoring and up to 150 different sports modes.
The watch also comes with Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity and supports five different satellite navigation systems, namely GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BDS, QZSS. The standard model is claimed to be able to last up to 35 days in power saving mode, 21 days with normal usage, and 35 hours with GPS enabled.
The Amazfit GTR 3 Pro shares most of the features as its sibling, but with some notable differences. This variant comes with a larger 1.45-inch circular AMOLED display and also offers the ability to answer calls via a built-in microphone/speakers and a Bluetooth connection to a smartphone. Surprisingly, the Pro model has a slightly shorter battery life than the standard variant. Specifically, Amazfit says it is able to last up to 30 days in saving mode and 12 days with normal usage, but could also last up to 35 hours with GPS.
The third model is the Amazfit GTS 3, which is basically a standard GTR 3 but with a rectangular and larger 1.75-inch AMOLED display, as well as a shorter battery life. In regards to the latter, this model is said to last up to 20 days in saving mode, 12 days with normal usage, and up to 20 hours with GPS activated.
All three of the new Amazfit GT 3 series smartwatches are available in Malaysia starting today via the company’s official online store in Lazada and Shopee. Both the standard Amazfit GTR 3 and the GTS 3 are priced at RM649, while the GTR 3 Pro is retailing at RM929.
