We have seen reports stating that next year’s Call of Duty game will use the confusing subtitle of Modern Warfare II. More details of the game have seemingly been leaked, and have made their way to Twitter. Among them is an indication that the game will feature a morality system of sorts.
These leaks were shared by Twitter user @RalphsValve, which VGC has reportedly partially verified. The easiest comparison would be the Honour System found in RDR2, which implies small changes to the way the story pans out depending on your actions in certain story points.

Realism will also be dialed up to eleven with this Call of Duty entry. This Modern Warfare II is claimed to feature more realistic gore, weapon jamming animations, and quivering voices with heavy breathing during call-outs, among others. Though many of these seem to be strictly for the singleplayer mode, and possibly a Realism mode for multiplayer PvP.
On one hand, this would make the singleplayer campaign of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II more interesting, and have a much better replayability value. But on the other, it will certainly attract media attention again for its controversial design. Though the series is no stranger to such things, especially considering the Clean house mission in Modern Warfare 2019, and No Russian in Modern Warfare 2 of 2009.
