Apple will be expanding the availability of Apple One‘s Premier subscription tier to 17 new markets next month. Among them is Malaysia who already has access to the two lower tiers of the service since November last year which was two months after Apple One made its official debut at the Apple’s Time Flies launch event.
At the moment, the Apple One Individual plan costs RM 19.90 per month in Malaysia which is inclusive of access to Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and 50GB iCloud+ storage. There is also the Family plan which allows users to share the plan with up to five other people alongside 200GB iCloud+ storage and is priced at RM 33.90 per month.
On another hand, the Premier tier will add Apple Fitness+ into the user’s subscription together with 2TB iCloud+ storage and it is also still shareable with five other users. Price-wise, the Apple One Premier tier will be available for RM 69.90 per month starting from 4 November onwards.
In markets such as the US, UK, Canada, and Australia, the Premier tier also features Apple News+. However, this particular service is not available in Malaysia which is why News+ will not be included in the Premier tier for our market once it goes official next month.
