Infinix has announced that its new mid-range smartphone, the Zero X Neo, will be arriving in Malaysia next week. The Android 11-equipped phone packs a MediaTek chipset, a massive battery capacity and a triple rear camera setup, among other things.
For its display, the Infinix Zero X Neo features a large 6.78-inch IPS LCD screen with 90Hz refresh rate, 84.7% screen-to-body ratio, and a resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels. Other than that, the phone comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual speakers, and a 3.5mm jack for wired external audio devices.
The driving force for its overall features and software applications is a MediaTek Helio G95 SoC, which is paired together with 8GB RAM and an internal storage capacity of 128GB. Due to the chipset used, the Zero X Neo is only capable of supporting up to 4G LTE when it comes to connectivity. As for its battery, the phone comes with a 5,000mAh capacity, which also features 18W fast charging support via USB-C.
On its back is a triple camera setup that consists of a 48MP f/1.8 main shooter, an 8MP f/3.4 periscope telephoto with OIS (optical image stabilisation) and 5x optical zoom, as well as a 2MP depth sensor. Housed in the punch-hole cutout on the phone’s display is a 16MP front-facing camera.
The new Infinix Zero X Neo smartphone is priced at RM899 and is available in Nebula Black, Starry Silver and Bahamas Blue colour options. The phone will be first sold via the official Infinix AIOT store on Shopee starting next Thursday on 4 October 2021, and will later be available on its Lazada store from 29 October onwards.
