Last month, Netflix started rolling out its mobile gaming initiative with two mobile Stranger Things games in Poland. It looks like the company is expanding both video game and country count for the service. That being said, the addition on either side is a small one.
To start, Netflix has added three games to its mobile gaming catalogue. They are Card Blast, Shooting Hoops and Teeter (Up). The first one gives the average game of poker its own twist, the second is the average basketball shooting experience that you find in arcade centres brought to the phone, and the last and most unique one, which has you guiding a ball into a hole by maneuvering a platform.
Also, as mentioned, Netflix has made its now five games available to two other countries. Unfortunately, and as you’d probably expect, it’s not Malaysia. Instead, it’s Poland’s fellow European countries Spain and Italy.
Overall, beyond the added value to a Netflix subcription, the games are not particularly exciting. But if you were already playing those games, the added benefit would be that you can do so without ads. All that being said, it’s not a feature that most of us can enjoy until the company makes this available in more countries.
