Logitech earlier this month launched the G435 Lightspeed which the company claims to be the lightest and most affordable wireless gaming headset it has ever released so far. Weighing at just 165 grams, the new headset seems to be aimed at all gamers regardless of whether they are gaming on PC, console, or smartphones.
Comes standard with a pair of 40mm audio drivers which are housed within memory foam padding, they are compatible with Dolby Atmos, Tempest 3D AudioTech, and Windows Sonic Spatial Sound. For G435, Logitech choose not to equip it with a traditional microphone boom arm design and has opted for dual beamforming microphones that are built directly into the right earcup.
As per many of Logitech Lightspeed wireless products out there, users can choose to utilise the G435 via its 2.4GHz USB-A receiver or directly through Bluetooth. Regardless of their choice though, the maximum wireless range will still be 10 meters.
In terms of battery life, the G435 is apparently able to last up to 18 hours and can be charged through its USB-C port, although Logitech did not mention how long it would take for the headset to be fully charged. Unfortunately, the headset does not have wired mode.
When Logitech said that the G435 is its most affordable wireless gaming headset to date, the company is not kidding about it. While the headset will only be released in our market this October, Logitech G’s official website for Malaysia and Lazada store have already listed it for RM 299 which is slightly lower than the headset’s USD 79.99 (~RM 333) price tag in the United States.
