Back in June, Crytek announced that it will soon be releasing the Crysis Remastered Trilogy, which contains the remasters of the other two games in the series. Back then, the company did not have a release date, only giving gamers the old “coming soon”. But that has changed, as the company has locked a specific date down to release the remaster trilogy.
On its own website, Crytek announced that the Crysis Remastered Trilogy will be released on 15 October. And alongside the trilogy are the individual second and third games of the series, for those who already own the remaster of the first game.
Console players will also get a physical release. Though oddly enough, physical editions for the Nintendo Switch will come separately, and at an as of yet undetermined date.
For PC, it’s worth mentioning that, like the first standalone, Crysis Remastered Trilogy will be an Epic Games Store exclusive for a year. And it will come with a price tag of US$49.99 (~RM207). Though this option is not available for the Nintendo Switch. If you already own the first game, or the Nintendo handheld console hybrid, then you can get the second and third titles separately for US$29.99 (~RM124) each. Though chances are the price you see on EGS when it goes live will be a little lower, with local pricing taken into account.
