Jabra Launches New Elite Series TWS Earbuds; Starts From RM299

The new lineup consists of the Elite 7 Pro, Elite 7 Active, and Elite 3.

Jabra recently held a launch for not one, but three new pair of true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds. Specifically, the new lineup includes the Jabra Elite 7 Pro, Elite 7 Active, and Elite 3.

Starting with the hero product of the line, the Elite 7 Pro is the premium model of the three and comes loaded with the latest features the Danish brand has to offer. Features include the new MultiSensor Voice technology that comprises a bone conduction sensor, beam forming microphone technology, and AI-driven algorithms to provide a world-class, over-the-phone experience. Internally, the Elite 7 Pro houses 6mm drivers in each earbud, delivering what Jabra describes as a rich and dynamic audio clarity, plus optimised comfort via its design. Oh, and it also has ANC.

Battery-wise, the Elite 7 Pro offers up to nine hours of continuous play with ANC turned on and 35 hours with the cases, which translates to approximately four charges. Moreover, the earbuds also support digital voice assistants, specifically Google Assistant and Amazon’s Alexa. Additionally, the earbuds have an IP57 rating and support multiple connections.

The Jabra Elite 7 Pro will be available starting 1 October and will retail for RM999.

Jabra Elite 7 Active

Moving along, the Elite 7 Active is clearly a pair of earbuds aimed towards consumers who maintain an active lifestyle. To speak plainly, the earbuds are virtually identical to the Elite 7 Pro, save for the MultiSensor Voice technology. In its stead, the earbuds come with a ShakeGrip coating, designed to fit into its user’s ears and stay firmly in place during any workout. For good measure, the audio peripheral also feature liquid silicon eartips for a more comfortable fit.

The Jabra Elite 7 Active will only be available from 15 October onwards and will retail for RM899.

Jabra Elite 3

Next on the list is the Jabra Elite 3. During its presentation, the brand says that these budget-oriented earbuds were created more for the current youth generation in mind. Specs-wise, the earbuds feature the same 6mm driver found in the Elite 7 Pro and Elite 7 Active, but lacks any of the major features the other two have, as well as ANC.

That said, the Elite 3 offers what its Danish creator says is outstanding noise isolation and a HearThrough Awareness feature that is essentially the brand’s own take on the ambient sound feature. Further, the earbuds also support Qualcomm’s aptX HD audio codec. Battery-wise, the earbuds are capable of seven hours of continuous play, and 28 hours with the charging case.

The Jabra Elite 3 will be available from 15 September onwards and will retail for RM389.

Lastly, there’s the Jabra Elite 2. These earbuds share similar features to the Elite 3, sporting the same 6mm drivers, noise isolation feature, and support for the Qualcomm aptX HJD audio codec. What sets it apart from the Elite 3, though, is its IP55 rating, as well as its charging case’s smaller 21-hours capacity.

Price-wise, the Elite 2 will be available in September and retails for RM299.
