Over the weekend we saw the leak of this month’s free games for PS Plus subscribers. PlayStation Asia has announced the official list of games, and as it turns out, the leak’s prediction of all three games are accurate.
Headlining September’s list of free games for PS Plus subscribers is Hitman 2. It’s the second game in the series to be released this way, with the first installment being given away in February 2019. So it should need no introduction at this point.

The other two games on the PS Plus list are Predtor: Hunting Grounds and Overcooked: All You Can Eat. The former is an asymmetrical multiplayer title that sees four players play as spec ops soldiers going about their mission, with one player playing as the eponymous Predator trying to eliminate the other four. The latter is the bundling of the both Overcooked and Overcooked 2. It also happens to be the PS5 title of the month.
All three games will be available to download for PS Plus subscribers starting 7 September 2021. Then they will remain available for subscribers to download until 4 October. If you’ve not claimed August’s free games, you should do so before they are replaced by the new list.
