realme Malaysia will launch another new smartphone in the form of the realme GT Master Edition later this week. As per previous realme Master phones, the new model features design traits made by the Japanese industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa who has also designed products for many renowned brands such as Herman Miller, MUJI, Lamy, and more.
For the realme GT Master Edition, Naoto apparently took the inspiration from travelling which led to the suitcase-like design on the phone. Painted in Voyager Grey colourway, it is also draped in vegan leather and comes complete with Naoto’s signature.
However, the phone will also be made available in another colourway with a glass back in Malaysia called Daybreak Blue. In terms of hardware, the GT Master Edition is equipped with a 6.43-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display which realme has sourced from Samsung and has a refresh rate of 120Hz.
Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor, the phone comes standard with 8GB of RAM in Malaysia but can be obtained with either 128GB or 256GB internal storage. Photography-wise, the phone relies on a 64MP triple camera module which is inclusive of an 8MP ultra-wide camera as well a 2MP macro camera.
There is also a 32MP selfie camera located on the top left part of its display. Completing the GT Master Edition’s general specifications is a 4300mAh battery in which realme claims can be fully charged in 33 minutes via the 65W SuperDart Charge charger that comes together with the phone.
The GT Master Edition 128GB will be made available in Malaysia starting from 9 September for RM1,399 through realme’s official store on Lazada. The 256GB will be released on the same day as well for RM1,699 and early adopters will receive a free soundbar alongside their new phone.
