Originally announced back in April, Dell Inspiron 16 Plus has recently made its debut in our market. Available immediately through Dell Malaysia’s website, the new model is the latest addition to the growing 16-inch laptop offerings over here.
In Malaysia, the Inspiron 16 Plus currently comes standard with a 16-inch IPS display that has a native resolution of 3072 x 1920 alongside 100% sRGB colour gamut coverage. Other standard hardware included in the Malaysian variant of the laptop includes 16GB DDR-3200 RAM and 512GB M.2 PCI3 NVMe solid state drive.
In addition to having an aluminium chassis, Dell said that the keycaps on the Inspiron 16 Plus is 6% larger than the previous generation of 15-inch Inspirons and has a 1.3mm key travel distance while the touchpad is also 30% bigger than its older 15-inch counterparts. The laptop also comes with a 3-cell 56Whr battery but Dell’s website somehow did not mention the exact battery life rating for the model.
As for its processor option, the Inspiron 16 Plus with Intel Core i5-11400H is limited to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 graphics. On another hand, customers that have opted for Intel Core i7-11800H can choose to obtain either GeForce RTX 3050 or RTX 3050 Ti graphics.
In terms of pricing, the Inspiron 16 Plus usually starts at RM6199 although, with the RM 600 rebate that Dell is offering at the moment, the base price currently begins at RM5599. For more details, just head on to Dell Malaysia’s official website right here.
