Back in May, we saw a number of reports about Netflix getting serious about its gaming business. Later details indicated that it will offer games ad-free as part of its subscription. Now, it looks like we are seeing what that may look like. Or rather, the people in Poland are.
Polish subscribers to Netflix now also get access to one N Gaming option within the app. And in it are two Stranger Things titles. One is the 16-bit beat-’em-up Stranger Things 3, and the other is Stranger Things 1984, which is a rebranding of a 2017 smartphone exclusive.
Let’s talk Netflix and gaming.
Today members in Poland can try Netflix mobile gaming on Android with two games, Stranger Things: 1984 and Stranger Things 3. It’s very, very early days and we’ve got a lot of work to do in the months ahead, but this is the first step. https://t.co/yOl44PGY0r

From the images, it looks like tapping on them simply leads to their respective Google Play Store download pages. And from there, you download the games as you usually do. Ars Technica says at this point, the games will ask that you put in your Netflix credentials. And yes, even in this Poland-exclusive feature, this looks to be exclusive to Android devices.
With only two games, it looks to be very far from the “Netflix for games” that other services like Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass are currently nicknamed. Though it does look like the company is committed to working on this project, and expanding the library.
