Barely a week after the Galaxy Unpacked August event, Samsung today has officially announced that it will begin taking pre-orders for the new Galaxy Z Fold3 in Malaysia starting from this coming Thursday, 19 August.
The local pricing for the device has leaked into the net over the weekend but today, all the details have since been made official. For starters, customers can choose to obtain either the 256GB version of Z Fold3 for RM6,699 or the higher-end 512GB option which is priced at RM7,099.
As per what we have pointed before, this means the Z Fold3 is significantly cheaper than its predecessor, the Z Fold2 which was launched last September in Malaysia for RM7,999. Meanwhile, customers that pre-ordered the Z Fold 3 will receive an e-voucher worth RM 850 that they can spend at Samsung Malaysia’s online store.
At the same time, they will also be provided with a Samsung Care+ protection package that is valid for 1-year. The pre-order program for Galaxy Z Fold3 in Malaysia will last until 21 September through the online store as well as physical Samsung Experience Stores and Authorized Partners throughout the country.
