MSI recently has expanded its 11th Gen Intel Core-based laptop line-up in Malaysia by announcing the availability of the Creator Z16 for our market. As you may be able to guess from its name, the laptop is skewed more towards content creators and features an exterior design that carries a more professional vibe as compared to the aggressive design lines of the brand’s gaming laptops.
Draped in Lunar Gray colourway, the Creator Z16 carries a CNC-milled body with a thickness of 15.9mm and has passed the stringent MIL-STD-810G tests. Weighing at 2.2kg, the laptop is equipped with a 16-inch IPS-level touch display that has a 16:10 aspect ratio, a native resolution of 2560 x 1600, and a 120Hz refresh rate.
MSI also said that the Calman Verified display has a DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage of 100% alongside Delta-E value of under 2 and is fully calibrated directly from the factory. Given its target market, it is not surprising to see the company put a lot of emphasis on the output quality of Creator Z16’s display.
Other than that, the Creator Z16 has also been equipped with a set of four speakers that were tuned by Dynaudio as well as a mini LED-based RGB keyboard. The Malaysian variant will only have one configuration at launch though which includes an Intel Core i7-11800H, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Max-Q graphics, 32GB of RAM, and 1TB NVMe PCIe solid state drive.
In terms of pricing, the Creator Z16 can be obtained for RM11,999 and is currently available for pre-order via MSI Malaysia’s official website as well as the brand’s official store on Lazada.
