Hades is a game that should need no introduction. But if you need one, it’s the rogue-lite dungeon crawler with Greek mythology themes. It was also last year’s indie darling of the video games industry. Despite ending its exclusivity period with the Epic Games Store in December, it only got ported to the Nintendo Switch in March this year. But now, it’s finally made its way to home consoles.
Private Division, which publishes the console versions of Hades, announced that Hades will be available in both digital and physical copies. There’s technically two versions of the game, but you’ll only ever need one. This is because PS4 copies of the game come with a free upgrade to the digital PS5 version.
At its base, the PS4 version of Hades will run at 1080p and 60fps, which is the expected performance level. This is pushed up to 4K 60fps for the PS5 version. The latter will also sport exclusive features, such as enhanced vibration on the DualSense controller.
The digital version of Hades is available for RM99, while a physical copy will cost RM135. For the extra, you’ll also be getting a character compendium booklet, as well as a code for the game’s digital soundtrack.
