Spotify has a number of different subscription plans, from the more recent Premium Duo to the old family subscription. But these all bill you in the same monthly way. With the new Premium Mini subscription, you can now choose to be billed weekly, or even daily instead.
Spotify says that its Premium Mini subscriptions come with almost all of the benefits of a full-fledged monthly subscription plan. This includes the all important ad-free listening, as well as the ability to tune in to the same playlist or podcast with up to five friends via Group Sessions. The only caveat here is the number of songs you can download to one device, which is limited to 30. And you lose them when your Premium Mini subscription ends, just as with the regular plans.
The company is also giving potential customers more options to sign up for Spotify Premium Mini. On its website, the company says that payment can be made via your telco bill. The company also points out that these are prepaid options, which imply that they don’t get automatically renewed.
As for their price, a single day of Spotify Premium Mini costs RM1, while a week is priced at RM3.90. You can stack up to three months of premium subscription this way, but at that point it would make more sense to just get the normal monthly Premium subscription.
