While it has launched plenty of new devices earlier this month which includes MateView GT gaming monitor, MateView 4K monitor, and nova 8i, it looks like Huawei is not done yet. Today, the company has begun accepting pre-orders for its new tablet, the MatePad 11 in Malaysia.
As indicated by its name, you may think that the tablet comes with an 11-inch display. Well, the screen size according to Huawei’s official specs is actually 10.95-inch which is already close enough and it also has a 120Hz IPS panel with a native resolution of 2560 x 1600 (WQXGA).

Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 856, the MatePad 11 also comes standard with 6GB of RAM in Malaysia. Despite the processor, do note that the tablet is still running on HarmonyOS 2 which means you may have to find a workaround if you need to utilise Google Mobile Services (GMS) as part of your daily life.
Other than that, the MatePad 11 is also equipped with a 13MP f/1.8 rear camera and 8MP f/2.0 front camera alongside a 7250mAh battery that allows the tablet to be operational for up to 12 hours. There is also a set of four speakers inside the tablet that have been tuned by Harmon Kardon as well as four built-in microphones.
Being a Huawei product, this means that the MatePad 11 also comes with additional functionalities that are exclusive to other products made by the company. Among them includes multi-screen collaboration with selected Huawei phones, while some MateBook laptops are able to utilise the tablet as a secondary display.
Interesting enough, the storage option for the tablet is also tied to its colourway. Those who prefer the 128GB model which is priced at RM 1,999 will receive it in Matte Grey, while the 256GB variant comes in Olive Green instead alongside a price tag of RM 2,399.
Regardless of customers preferences though, all pre-order units will be accompanied by a Huawei Smart Magnetic Keyboard and second-generation Huawei M-Pencil stylus. For more details, just head on to Huawei Malaysia’s official online store right here.
